Welcome in ICAR submission system

Dear author!

You are at the home website of the online system for submission of abstracts and papers to ICAR – International Journal of Young Conservators and Restorers of Works of Art. Below you will find information about the journal and important links. All the authors need to register an account to be able to send in abstracts and papers. To register, click the link below and follow the instructions. After the registration, you will receive an e-mail with confirmation. Then you will need to log in.

If you already have an account, you just need to log in to see your user panel.

Remember that before submitting an abstract or a paper you HAVE TO be familiar with editorial guidelines provided on ICAR’s website. Your submissions have to prepared accordingly, or else they will not be accepted. We only accept submissions of abstracts when the call for abstracts is live. See:

ICAR’s Editorial Board

About ICAR

ICAR – International Journal of Young Conservators and Restorers of Works of Art is an annual peer-reviewed journal established at the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. It was created for students and recent graduates of conservation and restoration of works of art and related disciplines.

Having a paper published in ICAR – International Journal of Young Conservators and Restorers of Works of Art is free. We accept papers from students and emerging conservators up to 10 years after their graduation. We publish papers based on original research, BA, MA and PhD theses and coursework. Selected authors are invited to send full papers for peer-reviewing. Papers accepted by reviewers are published in the journal.

The call for abstracts goes live each year in February-March. ICAR is released annually in the early summer.
